Assistant Principal
Mrs. Kimberly Davis Greetings Wolverine Families,
With excitement and gratitude, I am very thankful to join the Wynbrooke team as the Assistant Principal. I am truly honored to serve in this capacity. I look forward to being a part of the Wolverine family and supporting all students with a safe and positive environment conducive to high levels of learning.
I earned my Bachelor of Science and Reading degree from Georgia Southern University. I started my teaching career in 1996 as a 4th grade teacher. I have also served as a 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade teacher, lead teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal and District Lead. I continued my education with a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, from Troy State University and an Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Northwestern State University. I have been so fortunate to work in some amazing schools raising student achievement and leading STEM school initiatives.
On a more personal note, I am the mother of Shannon, Kameron, Tiffany, and Jessica; just mentioning their names makes my heart smile. I love spending quality time with family and making memories by hosting family functions. I would be remiss if I did not mention my biggest supporter my husband, Willie and my mother, Lorine, whom I have watched model love, kindness, and compassion towards everyone she meets.
As Assistant Principal, I plan to let love, compassion, and ambition for excellence be my guide to help provide a positive learning environment for all students. I believe "it takes a village" to ensure student success. Therefore, it is my goal to work diligently with the administrative team, parents, students, and teachers to maximize opportunities for all students to thrive and excel.
I look forward to meeting and working with our Wolverine Families as we grow throughout the school year. Go Wolverines!!!
