State of the District Address with Superintendent Watson-Harris
You are invited to attend the State of the District Address on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 5:30 pm.
The program will be a “drive-in celebration” at 4550 Greer Circle in Stone Mountain. The parking lot will open at 4:15 p.m.
Superintendent Mrs. Watson-Harris will share important updates on topics such as the reopening of schools, strategic planning, addressing learning gaps, and more.
In addition, the seven regional superintendents will give their State of the Region Addresses via live webinars later that evening. Information will also be sent to parents by each regional superintendent.

Winter MAP Updates-Tuesday, February 23rd-Wednesday, February 24th
The winter MAP will be administered on Tuesday and Wednesday morning of this week. The dates for testing are February 23rd and February 24th. The students will be allowed to come in to make up the reading and math sections that were incomplete or missed during the previous test sessions.
Students who are bus riders and students who have chosen to participate during this test session will test in an AM session only. Students will be assigned to specific rooms based on the student's grade level.
Please review the attached route sheets to locate your designated bus stop for pick up and drop off. If you have altered your decision to use the district's bus transportation, please cancel with the district's transportation office. Bus Routes for MAP
Students who will be car riders are expected to arrive by 7:45 am in the car rider lane. Pick-up will be at 11:00 am in the car rider lane. The bus lane is for buses only this week. Winter MAP Student Schedule
Please make sure all students eat breakfast before reporting to the building. Lunches will be provided to students as they exit the building.
Uniforms are strongly encouraged while in the school building, but not mandatory for testing.

DCSD Technology Wellness Check Coming Soon
We will soon conduct a DSCD Technology Wellness Check which will allow us to account for each DCSD device (Chromebooks and Tablets) and its wellbeing. Please look out for a communication from your child’s teacher on the steps you must take to submit information for this DCSD Technology Wellness Check.
Sweet Treats from PTA Drive
Due to low interest, PTA has decided to postpone the sweet treats give-a-way that was scheduled for this Thursday. PTA is committed to celebrating the students of Wynbrooke and will send notices out as soon as a new date has been secured. Thank you for your continued support.
