Good Day Wynbrooke Parents
We hope the summer has been great for you and your student! It is quickly coming to an end and I wanted to provide you with a few updates as you begin to prepare for the upcoming school year.
Summer Enrichment Project:
Taking time to ensure that our students are engaged in activities that promote learning during the summer is important and necessary for students to successfully transition to the next grade level. To ensure that our students return ready for the new school year, we have provided parents with multiple options to accomplish this goal, Moby Max Online Program, Summer Bridge Workbook or Grade Level Project-Based Tic-Tac-Toe Boards (If you select the Tic-Tac-Toe option, you are free to select the grade level of your choice). Please visit our website to review the Summer Enrichment Letter for more details. We apologize for any confusion and hope that you will take advantage of the remaining weeks of the summer to get started or complete the Summer Enrichment Project.
Please keep in mind, completion of the Summer Enrichment Project is required and due to the new teacher on Friday, August 11th. A grade will be recorded in Infinite Campus as Guided Practice in ELA, Science, Social Studies and Math.
Uniform Policy and School Supplies:
We have posted our Uniform Policy as well as School Supply List to our webpage for your review. Please review it carefully so that you can plan accordingly.
Open House:
Our Open House will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd 2:00 pm-4:30 pm. During this time you will be able to meet your child’s teacher, join PTA, purchase school spirit wear and much, much more!
All returning students will be REQUIRED to provide a current (within 30-60 days) Lease Agreement, Mortgage Statement, or Utilities Bill (Gas or Power) showing that you are a resident of the Wynbrooke attendance area during Open House to maintain your student’s enrollment. All Affidavits must also be updated. No exceptions will be made.
