On a daily basis, over 200 students are dismissed as car riders from the gymnasium. In order for this process to work, we need your full cooperation as it is important to do so in a safe and orderly manner.
To assist us in this effort we ask that you:
-Communicate all transportation changes in writing to your child’s teacher in advance. Daily transportation changes become difficult for everyone but especially students. Consistency is the best way to ensure that your child gets home correctly!
-Changes in transportation will not be accepted after 1:30 pm.
-Early check outs must take place before 1:30 pm.
-Remember, all Wynbrooke students are important. Therefore, our focus must be on all students. Please be courteous to other parents and to staff when reporting to campus to pick up your child.
-We prefer all parents to remain in their vehicles and drive through the pick-up line so that your child can be picked up.
Please avoid congregating at the gymnasium door because a large crowd slows down the entire process for everyone.
-All car riders must be picked up no later than 2:40 pm each day.
-When parking in the Wynbrooke Subdivision, be mindful of those who reside in the neighborhood. You should park on one side of the street heading towards Rockbridge Road. Please avoid blocking driveways and mailboxes.
Consider using the school bus as your mode of transportation to avoid the dismissal traffic on our campus. Bus routes are posted in the hallway behind the cafeteria.
