Please join me in congratulating our very own, Ms. Deirdre Hill, Assistant Principal. She has been named a Semi-Finalist for the Regional Educational Support Professional II for the DeKalb County School District. Congratulations Ms. Hill!
CoGat testing for select students will begin next week as we have just received materials from the district office. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available.
Our Cultural Arts Night will be rescheduled for later in the school year.
We are looking forward to our first parenting session which will be facilitated by our Guidance Counselors. This session will be held on Thursday, October 19th from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm. The topic will be Talking with Your Child's Teacher. One volunteer hour will be earned.
The distribution of 9-Week Progress Reports has been extended until next week due to Hurricane Irma.
Have you ever wondered how you can help your child become a better writer? If so, please plan to attend our session, titled Parents Guide to Writers Workshop. On Tuesday, October 24th, we will hold our first Title I Parent University from 6:00 pm -7:00 pm. One volunteer hour will be earned.
