Good Evening Wynbrooke Parents
We hope you and your family enjoyed a wonderful Fall Break! We are looking forward to receiving our students on Tuesday, October 10th. Don’t forget students should wear their navy blue and white uniform.
We were made aware last week, that the Rockbridge Road Water Main Replacement Project will begin this week. It is expected to have a direct impact on our traffic which is already a challenge. Road work will take place from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. THIS WILL POTENTIALLY IMPACT DISMISSAL AT WYNBROOKE.
Reminders:
-Dismissal begins at 2:35 pm daily. Early check out ends at 1:30 pm. Please assist us with protecting instructional time which has been designated for personalized learning.
-It is likely that bus riders will arrive home slightly later than normal. Please be patient.
-To avoid the lengthy wait for car riders, you are encouraged to use the school bus as a form of transportation. Bus route information is posted behind the Cafeteria, near the Media Center.
-During dismissal, car riders should be picked up in the Gymnasium, not the Main Entrance.
-Most importantly, please be patient, be cautious, and be courteous on our campus.
-We are responsible for more than 800 students. Please assist us with making certain EVERY Wynbrooke students gets home safely.
I will be working closely with the Project Manager as well as our Transportation Department in hopes of minimizing interruptions to our regular schedule/routines and will keep you informed as I obtain new information. Please take time to view the link below for additional information.
