The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) will begin phasing in the regular DCSD instructional schedule to maximize instructional time when our students return on Tuesday, January 19th. Take a moment to review the information below so that you and your family are prepared for this transition.
Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, and Fridays
Synchronous Learning with Teachers
Wednesdays
Remote/Independent Learning Day (Asynchronous)
Students School Day 7:45a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Students will need to be logged into TEAMS and ready for the instructional day at 7:45 am SHARP. Students will be marked tardy at 7:50 am.
Lunch Break
10:35 am-11:05 am for all PreK-2nd grade students
11:05 am-11:35 am for all 3rd-5th grade students

Student Engagement while Virtual
Please continue to monitor your student’s presence while working virtually. It is an expectation for students to keep their cameras on during the instructional day so that our teachers can monitor students’ presence, engagement and need for additional assistance
2020-2021 Second Semester
The second semester begins on Tuesday, January 19th. Report cards for the 1stsemester will soon be available in Infinite Campus.
