March 23rd Update
Digital Learning:

Thank you for your patience as we navigated through the first week of digital learning. We hope that you and our students have established daily routines that will encourage students to work productively on all assignments. We will continue to work closely with our faculty and staff to ensure that our students benefit from quality, digital learning experiences that will allow them to meet the expectations of grade level standards. We ask that you monitor your child’s use of VERGE and completion of all digital learning assignments daily. During the school day, teachers will provide feedback, instructional assistance, and grade assignments as much as possible.

-If your child receives instructional support through our Early Intervention Program, Special Education, English Learners, etc. lessons have been placed in VERGE for those special courses, as well.

-Students should also complete 1 Exploratory assignment per day.

-If you have questions about assignments, please feel free to email your child's teacher.

Grades for the 9-Week Window are now available in Infinite Campus for 1st-5thgrade students.

Information, Resources, and Support for Our Wynbrooke Family:

The health and well-being of our Wynbrooke family is of great importance, so please continue to take care of yourself and know that we are here if you need us.  Our counselors, Ms. Wanda Blow (K-2nd: wanda_blow@dekalbschoolsga.org) and Dr. Mullins (3rd-5th: -lavorious_mullins@dekalbschoolsga.org) have many contacts and resources to assist you during these uncertain times. They are also happy to conference with you by phone if you, your child, etc. are having trouble adjusting to our new normal.

My heartfelt prayers go out to everyone who has been negatively impacted by this pandemic. I wish each of you good health!  We will keep our heads up and continue to provide our children with all we can so that they continue to feel supported, valued, and loved.

We are sending distant hugs to our students and their families during this unprecedented time!
