Wynbrooke Elementary

Dekalb County Schools

Update: Oct 30 - Nov 3

Greetings Wynbrooke Parents

Please take time to review the information below in preparation for the week ahead.

Dismissal Schedule:

On Monday, October 30th we will dismiss at 2:35 pm due to the 20-minute extended-day in DCSD.

On Tuesday, October 31st we will dismiss at our regular time of 2:15 pm.

DeKalb County School District will continue the 20-minute extended-day class schedule November 1st - November 30th in an effort to recapture much of the instructional time lost due to the storm known as Hurricane Irma.

Please be sure to share this information with anyone who will pick-up your child from school such as daycare providers.

Target Time Tutorial:

On Tuesday, October 31st we will not offer our Target Time Tutorial.

Due to the extended day continuing throughout November and the Rockbridge Road Construction Project, we have made the decision to offer Target Time Tutorial in the mornings rather than the afternoons in hopes of serving more students and minimizing afternoon traffic. Beginning Thursday, November 2nd, Target Time Tutorial will switch from afternoon to morning from 7:15 am until 8:00 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the remainder of the first semester. This tutorial program is offered to select students. If your child received an invitation to participate in this tutorial program, please make sure your child arrives at 7:00 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays to take advantage of this additional support.
